Janet Savage

1.    Who is Janet? 

I am 70 years young and have lived overall a very blessed life. Wonderful family around me growing up.  I have been married for 49 years and my husband is fantastic (most of the time)😊. We have 3 wonderful children: Paul, Chelsea and Sean who have all married the most amazing partners: Melissa, Brett and Morgan and we adore our 8 Grand Children from 18 down to 5.  We have a family Marine business “ Streaker Marine” which is in its 51^st year .  About 40 years ago I was asked to answer the phone and ended up basically running the place😊. My interest and passions are within my family, working in the business, scrapbooking for grandchildren, sleepovers, shopping birthdays and Christmas with the kids, holidays especially with the whole family.

2.    What is the number one lesson you've learned that you would share with your 12 year old self if you could?

Always follow your heart and your gut, love like you have never loved before and have understanding and compassion for people around you.  Stay out of the Sun and look after your skin, you can always replace the dress you bought, but never your skin.

3.    What does wellbeing mean to you personally and how do you practice self-care/self-love?

I try to always do the right thing with family and people around me, it makes me very happy to give, it gives me so much joy, and in return, I receive self-love and self-care .  You only get “one shot at it”  “, so make it a good one”…….

4.    How do you ensure you prioritise the time to focus on your wellness journey?

My very best pleasure EVER, was meeting Sheri and letting her look after my skin.  I had made a permanent booking for every 3 weeks until I die, and we all know what happened……….she moved to QLD😊.  I have always loved skin care, and I have always allowed time for myself for pampering, and exercise, to focus on life and look after everyone around you, you must be fit and healthy.

5.    Who inspires you the most and why?

The mothers of the World today, in particular our beautiful daughter Chelsea, along with my darling daughter-In- laws Melissa and Morgan.  They all work, love and care for everyone around them.  As women we have many jobs and it’s a fine balance, taking care and giving love to everyone.  These three girls do it beautifully (most of the time) and I’m always around to help out. I always say it doesn’t matter what I’m doing, the girls come first.

6.    What does radiance mean to you?

Being 70 and looking 50, I have used FRII[S]MITH products now for several years along with Sheri’s specialised care and I feel so much more confident in my skin.

7.    What is your favourite FRII[S]MITH product and why do you love it?

I have to say I love every product from cleanser, serums ,moisturiser, boosters and excited to try new boosters.  I do love a good Booster!!
